The Disney Magic was built in 1998 and the Wonder in 1999. They have each gone into Dry Dock for refurbishing every 2 years since. They are sister ships thus everything is similar for each. They each accommodate approximately 2600 passengers, they are 964 feet with a gross tonnage of 85,000 tons. They have 875 staterooms.

Disney Cruise Line Raises Flag at German Shipyard
Disney Cruise Line officially opened an office at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, as work continues to move forward on the design and development for the company's two new cruise liners. In a ceremonial welcome, the Disney Cruise Line team presented Meyer Werft with an official company flag which was hoisted at the entrance to the shipyard.
